Development Plan for Buddhayana Forest Retreat

At the present time, 
Buddhayana Forest Retreat is in it's developmental phase,
with the construction of retreat cabins and a Meditation Hall.

Upon completion of construction, 
Buddhayana Forest Retreat will enter it's operational phase.
In its operational phase, retreatants at Buddhayana Forest Retreat 
will keep the ten monastic Practice Precepts, including Noble Silence,
will practice meditation together in the Meditation Hall each morning, 
and will then enter solitary practice for the rest of the day in their cabins.

To date,
we have built two kilometers of roads,
dug wells and built outhouses,
raised sixteen cabins, 
a Meditation Hall
and the "HQ", an office / storage building.

Our aim is to finish construction during the summer of 2009,
and offer our first three month retreat the summer of 2010.
